Eastcott is home to a Specialist-led Veterinary Orthopaedic team who fully harness our multidisciplinary approach to care.
Our dedicated Veterinary Orthopaedic service is available to advise on orthopaedic cases and accept referrals for a full range of orthopaedic problems. Our highly qualified team of experienced and compassionate Specialist Orthopaedic surgeons employ our state-of-the-art hospital facilities to allow the accurate diagnosis of orthopaedic problems using radiography, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasonography, MRI and arthroscopy.
Our highly experienced surgical team combine clinical expertise with compassionate, warm and friendly care for patients and their families. Our team ensure that time is taken to discuss the findings and the potential treatment options from conservative or non-surgical treatment through to leading-edge surgical procedures where appropriate.
We work alongside a dedicated team of veterinary surgical Nurses who combine exceptional clinical skills with a caring and compassionate approach to care, providing the highest level of patient care.
Delivering a truly multidisciplinary approach to care enables our team to work collectively and collaboratively with colleagues across many disciplines to optimise diagnosis and provide outstanding treatment for every patient, ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes.
Our Veterinary Orthopaedic team work closely with our Specialist-led Anaesthesia and Analgesia team to ensure that our patients, who often have painful conditions, are made comfortable before and after treatment. The welfare of patients comes first when deciding the best course of action. Following treatment, the appropriate rehabilitation is a critical step in obtaining the best recovery from orthopaedic conditions or following surgery.
To facilitate this, we have an in-house Veterinary Physiotherapy service which provides bespoke rehabilitation programmes for our patients and exceptional after-care.
